Morning at leisure. Later in the afternoon, visit the Gateway of India, built to commemorate the visit of George V in 1911, one of the most prized possessions of the country, the Gateway of India is situated on the waterfront in South Mumbai. It has mainly been constructed as per the Indo-Saracenic style of architecture.
One can also find the features of the Muslim architectural styles that were very much popular in Gujarat in the 16th century. Also, visit Prince of Wales Museum. Proceed along Marine Drive .What draws attention to this avenue is the striking esplanade next to the road, where scores of people come to breathe fresh air and view sunset. At nights, Marine Drive looks stunning illuminated, with lights and if seen from some elevated point beside the road, it appears like a necklace with street lights resembling a string of pearls.
Attributable to its extravagant loveliness, it is also known as Queen's Necklace. Later, visit Chowpatty Beach, famous for its local fast-food.

In this city of palaces this stands out as a vast confection of a building with an eclectic range of tastes and styles inside and out. Inside, the palace is filled with magnificent antiques, golden elephant howdahs and thrones, Victorian tiling, stained glass, chandeliers and frescoes.

After breakfast, visit the City Palace and Chamundi Hill amongst other city sights. Later experience the local Mysore markets, renowned for sandalwood articles, silk saris, pyramids of multicolored powders and incenses and abounding with exotic scents.

After breakfast, drive to the “Scotland of India” Coorg. Upon arrival check in at the hotel. Set amidst verdant valleys, imposing mountains and teak wood forests, this is one of the most beautiful hill stations you can visit. Misty hills, lush forest, acres and acres of tea & coffee plantation, orange groves, undulating streets and breathtaking views are what make Madikeri (Coorg) an unforgettable destination. The kingdom of Madikeri was ruled by many dynasties, starting with Gangas of Talakad, Kadambas, Cholas, Kongalvas, Changalvas, Hoysalas and Nayakas. Coorg - Nagarhole |

After breakfast, drive to majestic Nagarhole.Nagarhole lies 94 kilometers from the city of Mysore in southern India. It is a mixture of rich green tropical and deciduous forests with rolling hills cris-crossed by streams, swamps, rivers and waterfalls. Nagarhole, a former Maharajas hunting area, is dedicated to saving the wildlife and is considered one of the best places in India to observe Elephants in the wild. About a thousand Elephants are thought to populate the park, and in the hot summer months they congregate in large herds along the banks of the River Kabini. Other animals include Four-Horned Antelope, Spotted Deer, Mouse Deer, Gaur, Indian Wild Dog, Sloth Bear, and the elusive Leopard and Tiger. Over 200 species of birds have been recorded here, and as well as large numbers of game and water birds the park is noted for its Ospreys. Due to the large number of Elephants in the park, game viewing and bird watching are by jeep or early morning coracle rides. Enjoy an evening jeep safari with a private guide.

After breakfast, transfer to Bangalore airport to catch your flight to Cochin. Upon arrival, you will be met & transferred by private vehicle to the hotel. The hotel greets you in a traditional 'varvelpu', or welcome. The garland, the Aarti and the proffered coconut water are gestures you'll become familiar with as you journey through this state. Cochin is an evocative harbor town stretched across islands and peninsulas on the Malabar Coast. Founded by Vasco da Gama in 1502 it was once a centre of the spice trade and now the principal port on the Malabar Coast. A cosmopolitan European influence has been left by the various waves of British, Portuguese, Dutch and Jewish settlers who made this colourful city their home.

Perched regally on petrified time, Fort Kochi is not just a quaint township or a traveler’s delight.
It is a perfect poetry of folklore handed down the ages, a melting pot of culture that has emerged from three invasions, and a lifestyle that prides itself on its natural ardour to savour life, much the same way you would do about your holiday vacation in Kerala. The Portuguese made it in 1530, the Dutch played with it from 1663 and ultimately the British East India Company wrested the grand creation away in 1795. Housing the first European township and anchored on one of the finest natural harbours of the State, Fort Kochi over the chapters of history played the fascinating roles of a major military base, shipbuilding centre, a cultural hub, and a centre for Christianity, all in one. Also enjoy a sunset cruise around the harbour to see the Dutch built Bolghatty Palace and the Chinese fishing nets. Later, shop in the local market of Fort Kochi.

After breakfast, drive to Kumarakom. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Kumarakom, an unbelievably beautiful paradise of mangrove forests, emerald green paddy fields and coconut groves interspersed with enchanting waterways and canals adorned with white lilies. Situated on the Vembanad Lake, in this small water world you'll come across plenty of traditional country crafts, boats and canoes which will take you into the heart of the scenic lake.

After breakfast, we take you to a private cooking session(approx 3 Hrs) to explore the richness of mouth watering south indian cuisine. This cooking session will acquaint you with the typical culinary delights of Southern India. The authentic delicacies cooked with traditional exotic spices will definitely give you a gastronomical bliss. Later board a traditional rice boat to navigate through the narrower sections of the backwaters. On the backwaters life passes by as it has for centuries.
